Our Story

As a West Tennessee gigging drummer, frustration grew in me due to cramped venues. These smaller spaces couldn’t accommodate a full kit or a proper cajon setup. Existing stomp boxes lacked the stylistic versatility and deep bass required. They were uncomfortable for a heel-stomper, used cheap pickups with poor tone, and were often overpriced digital gadgets. A better way was needed.

Countless hours were spent testing different hardwoods and microphonic amplification methods to capture the perfect low-end frequencies. The result of that relentless experimentation is the Rhino Stomp—an all-acoustic, exquisitely balanced, and ergonomically designed instrument that delivers the authentic, rich kick drum thump that had been missing. It’s a been a real game-changer!
