Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Rhino Stomp designed for?
Rhino Stomps are crafted for musicians of all levels—from beginners to seasoned professionals. With series ranging from Junior to Exotic to Custom, there’s a model to suit any budget. Whether you’re a gigging guitarist, a percussionist, or simply playing for enjoyment at home, the Rhino Stomp is designed to enrich your sound and take your performance to the next level.
How soon will my order be built and shipped?
All of our products are custom-crafted to order. Please allow 6–8 weeks for production and delivery.
Where does your wood come from?
We source our hardwoods locally, regionally, and internationally, partnering with trusted distributors across the United States and Canada. Through these relationships, we’re able to provide a wide selection of specialty and rare exotic hardwoods.
Do I need a power supply or batteries to use the stomp box?
No, it doesn’t. Our instruments use passive dynamic microphone technology—simply plug them in and play.
Does the stomp box require a preamp?
When plugging directly into a mixing board—which is generally preferable—most mixers include built-in preamps. However, adding an inline preamp can provide greater control and make it easier to manage increased volume.
How do I use the stomp box?
The Rhino Stomp is ergonomically designed for both toe-tapping and heel-stomping techniques. Plus, you can shape your sound by tapping anywhere across the top surface, giving you added versatility and control.
Does it make a difference where I place the stomp box while playing?
Yes. For the best full-bodied, low-frequency response, we recommend placing the stomp box on a carpet rather than directly on a hard floor.
How much is shipping?
We charge a flat rate of $25 for the first item (plus insurance) when shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Each additional item ships for just $5 more.
